After months of preparation, the Solent Junior Devils are finally ready to get the 2026/27 NIHL 2 season underway!

And what better way to start than at home in front of the Devils faithful! 🔴⚫

It’s our first game of the season and our home opener, and the team is ready to get stuck in and start the campaign strongly.

A new season brings a new-look squad, new faces and plenty of young talent ready to make their mark in NIHL 2. Now it's time to put the work from pre-season into action! 💪🏒

🚨 GOALTENDER RE-SIGNING 🚨

The Solent Junior Devils are delighted to confirm that Greg Blais will return for the 2026/27 NIHL 2 season! 🔴⚫

The experienced Canadian netminder returns for a second season with the Devils after proving to be a reliable presence between the pipes throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

Greg brings a huge amount of experience to the roster, having played across Europe, North America and some of the top divisions in European hockey during his career. That experience was evident last season, both in his performances on the ice and in the influence he had within the dressing room.

A calm and dependable goaltender, Greg was also an important leader in the locker room, helping to support a young group of players throughout a challenging season.

His experience will once again be particularly valuable as we continue to develop our younger players and goaltenders within the Solent pathway.

We're delighted to have Greg back in Devils colours for another season.

🚨 GOALTENDER SIGNING 🚨

The Solent Junior Devils are delighted to announce that Cooper Ivey has signed for the 2026/27 season on a two-way agreement with our U19 programme! 🔴⚫

Cooper is another exciting product of the Solent junior pathway, having helped our U19s secure the championship last season.

Still one of the youngest players in the squad, Cooper has already gained valuable experience beyond junior hockey, seeing ice time with both the NIHL 2 Junior Devils and the senior Solent Devils during his young career.

The two-way agreement will allow Cooper to continue his development with our U19 programme while gaining further senior hockey experience with the Junior Devils and, when required, the senior Devils.

With plenty of potential and already valuable experience at senior level, Cooper is one to watch as he continues his progression through the Solent system.

We're excited to see what another season brings for Cooper.

🏒 2026/27 NIHL 2 JERSEYS REVEALED 🔴⚫

The new season is getting closer, and we're delighted to reveal the Solent Junior Devils NIHL 2 jerseys for 2026/27!

⚪ HOME JERSEY
We stay true to tradition with our classic white home jersey, continuing the look that has been part of the Devils identity for years.

🔴 AWAY JERSEY
For the road, we're embracing the Devils Red. Red has become an increasingly important part of our identity and this season it takes centre stage as our new-look away jersey and primary colour.

A fresh look for a new season, while still keeping the traditions that make the Junior Devils what they are.

🤝 A huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors for their support this season. Your backing makes a real difference to the team, our players and the continued development of the Junior Devils programme.
