Amazons at Interservices ❤️🖤🏒

A big well done to our Amazons who took to the ice at the 2026 Women’s Inter-Service Championship Final, with the RAF Pumas facing British Army Fury at Ice Sheffield.

Finishing 4-3 after a close battle right to the end.

Emma picked up a brilliant assist, Kelly scored an unreal goal, and Charlie put in a solid performance between the pipes as always.

A tough result, but a really cool experience and one the club is so proud to celebrate.

Want to join Solent Women’s Ice Hockey Club for the 2026/27 season? Now’s the time to register your interest! 🏒❤️🖤

We’re looking for players and netminders of all abilities, from complete beginners, to experienced skaters lighting up the net.

Our flagship team, VINCI Facilities Solent Amazons, compete in the WNIHL Valerie Conference, and we’re proud to reveal that our second women’s team, Solent Valkyries, will be levelling up to compete in the WNIHL Frank Wright Conference.

Official trial sessions will take place on 5th and 19th August, but please get in touch before then. If you can't make these dates please let us know and we will try and accommodate.

Amazons training: Wednesdays, 8.15–9.30pm
Valkyries training: Saturdays, 8.30–9.30pm

Be part of one of the fastest-rising sports clubs on the South Coast, and a damn friendly bunch of ladies, too. 😃

🩷 ‘Hockey for Harper’ is a charity ice hockey match being held at Planet Ice Gosport on Saturday 1st August 2026 at 16:30 🩷

Harper is 2 years-old and has the date set for her first round of Cytotron therapy in Mexico in mid-September to hopefully help with her symptoms of HIE. This treatment is not funded by the NHS and any donations will be much appreciated.

❤️🖤 VINCI Facilities Defence Become Title Sponsor of Solent Amazons 🏒

The Solent Amazons Women's Ice Hockey team are proud to announce a new multi-year partnership with VINCI Facilities Defence, who join the club as our official title sponsor going into the 2026/27 season.

This exciting partnership will see the team take to the ice as the VINCI Facilities Solent Amazons, as women’s sport continues to grow in the UK
and the Amazons keep building real momentum.

VINCI Facilities are a leading provider of facilities management and building solutions across the UK and internationally, focused on creating and maintaining spaces where people can thrive. Their
people-first approach and values include trust, responsibility, and teamwork. Mirroring what the Amazons are all about: working hard for

This partnership also has a special personal connection. VINCI Facilities Defence employee Andy Walsh is closely linked to the club, with his
daughter Molly Walsh playing for the Solent Women’s Ice Hockey Club. It’s a great example of how this partnership is rooted in the community

Women's Ice Hockey is an incredible sport to be a part of, but it also comes with real costs for the athletes and the club. The support from

A short-benched Solent Amazons side battled hard but came away with a 7–2 loss in our final away game of the season. The scoreline doesn’t reflect the effort and determination shown, and we’re proud of how this team continues to grow and gel, with strong performances and real team spirit building as we head into the off-season.

Another huge thank you to our incredible gold sponsor Salt of the Earth deodorant for their support throughout the season. Their commitment to natural, sustainable products and supporting grassroots sport has made a huge difference to the team and we are so grateful.
