⛸We have seasonal Front of House and Skate Marshal vacancies available. Applicants should be approachable, friendly and team players. Skate Marshals need to be nifty on skates.

📆Saturday 22nd November 2025 to Sunday 4th January 2026 - flexible hours.

We'll be at University of Portsmouth's jobs fair on Thursday 2nd October 11am-2pm, then in Guildhall Square's Wetherspoons (The Isambard Kingdom Brunel) afterwards to meet and chat about seasonal work with us.

GISC are excited to announce that we will be hosting it's 2nd Ice dance social and workshop on Saturday 23rd August 2025. After the positive feedback from our previous workshop "introduction to ice dance" with Gosport ice dance coach and British ice-skating ice dance technical specialist Jodie O'keefe, Jodie will be running an "introduction to pattern dance" workshop where you will be learning not just the steps and timing to low level dances but also the characteristic and the performance side of the pattern dance.

Following the workshop there will be a two-hour pattern dance social. This will be facilitated by GISC member David May and supported by Jodie O'keefe. There will be a set list of pattern dances played. If you are new to ice dance this will be the perfect opportunity to come and join in and have some fun. Solo or in a couple. Please see prices below and a registration link.

Ice dance workshop - 16.15 to 17.15 - £15 per person

Pattern dance social - 17.15 to 19.15 - £20 per person
