How do you process uncomfortable feelings?
I create stuff, usually art based either on canvas, decorate rooms or build something for the garden.
Sometimes i change my hair, get a tattoo or piercing - but those aren't helpful 🤣
I find being creative calms my mind enough to focus on what is uncomfortable for me8.
Behind the scenes here I've had lots of small but insightful aha moments for the last few months.
Knowing I'm ready for something new, bigger.
Desire more connections with people and a different kind of depth to my work and taking a different direction has been a process and it's uncomfortable to be brave enough to make a decision away from the normal and comfortable.
But when its time to try something different, do something different or make a tough decision for the benefit of you... its really important to have patience with the process because sometimes its tough emotionally... so much guilt, disappointment, sadness, confusion and distrust in decision making ability. Mixed with excitement, joy and that spark when you know you've found whats next.
But ultimately, you do know the path you need to take, its building up the bravery that takes time.
So here's to what ever comes next and i will definitely keep you updates.
😘 Julie Ridley Coaching isn't going anywhere... I have way too much to say 🤣 gently disrupting the rules, norms, expectations we have as women.
(I redecorated my kitchen today which is didn't know i was going to do until I took down the wallpaper - i dont know what my husband means when he says I'm impulsive.
Personally I think its a good quality, keeps life interesting 🤣... )
