For the second month running we fielded 3 teams at the Hampshire FA Walking Football event at Stoneham. Our Spartans were unlucky in losing out on goals scored in League 1, whilst the Crusaders finished 4th in the same division.
The Casuals battled gamely in League 2 with some solid efforts.

A great morning's football at Stoneham on Tuesday. For the first time ever we had THREE teams and 20 players representing Gosport Walking Football Club. What a great morning we had.
After all 3 teams got off to a flying start with wins all round, it was the Crusaders that carried it on and deservedly won League 2, with a 100% record. Steve Irwin, despite being under the weather was in deadly form in front of goal.
Spartans finished a solid mid table in League 1 with keeper John Regan making another penalty safe after one at Winkelbury last week.
Casuals also finished a solid mid table. Great effort from everyone as they had no subs, so everyone played a full 90mins.

What a great turnout this evening guys. Some really good football, played in good spirit, then on to our largest Christmas get together.
BRWCA did us proud again with an amazing buffet. Hope you all enjoyed it? I think the darts teams did too. There was still quite a bit left so I did a much appreciated delivery to 101, the homeless shelter on Fareham Road.
Finally, thank you all so much for the collection. It really means a lot. Thank you again.

Friday morning session in temperatures just above freezing and a record Friday turnout! 24 players, 2 refs and 1 injured list spectator.
Just over a year ago we were getting only 5 or 6 on Friday. We still welcome new players so if you're interested, get in touch. Ideally over 50s.

Great efforts from the guys at Lancing in the Sussex League. We remained unbeaten to maintain our lead at the top of the Championship, in a tough and very competitive division.
Can we hold on and get promotion to the Premiership? We're certainly going to give it a go.

Last Wednesday saw us field 2 teams in the monthly Hants FA event at Stoneham. Despite players missing through illness/injury we still managed to field 14 players.
Both teams exceeded expectations, whilst losing their first matches, continued the rest of the event unbeaten.
Both divisions were topped by Cove, leaving us top of the 'south' Hants teams on this occasion.
