Most of my primary working roles have been in the field of education and training but I've also had a life-long love of sport and exercise that led me to teaching fitness classes, initially, as a hobby, starting with aerobics in 1993 and moving on to Spinning® in 2008. In 2019, I trained as a Stott Level 1 Mat Pilates instructor and have been teaching regularly ever since, moving online through th
e pandemic. I've recently moved to the Gosport area and, in time, plan to offer more classes as well as one-to-one sessions. The teaching skills I developed in my primary working roles have informed my style as a fitness instructor. I want my clients to exercise in a safe and effective manner and so my classes are carefully planned to accommodate different levels of fitness and to offer alternatives where a client’s ability to take part may be limited by an injury or medical condition/issue.
