Gosport Pickleball Club Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world. Our venues are:-

Gosport Leisure Centre, Tues 12 - 2.00 pm. St Vincent College, Sat 11.45 - 1.45 pm. Bay House School, Thurs 7.00 - 9.00pm, West Hill Park School, Sun 10.00am - 12.00

WHAT IS PICKLEBALL? Pickleball combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over the net.
Pickleball is enjoyable, social and friendly, the rules are simple and suitable for beginners. of all ages. HOW CAN I TRY PICKLEBALL? It couldn’t be easier to start Pickleball and discover for yourself just how much fun it is! No special equipment is required and any comfortable clothing is fine. A brilliant interclub tournament at the PicklePad in Mudeford today, where Gosport Pickleball Club just edged a really competitive match.
There were some really competitive, friendly and fun games, and some lovely mixed club games afterwards.

A good showing from the two Gosport teams in the conclusion of this year's Acorn Leagues at Alverstoke.
Gosport 1 won 6 wins from 12, whilst Gosport 2 managed 3 wins from 8 games with both teams maintaining their current league status.
Thanks to the Gosport Captain and organiser Kevin, for all his hard work.
Also special thanks to Tara Creasey for organising such a fun competitive league, which has been enjoyed by all the Gosport players who took part.

Gosport had it's first international friendly game at the Darryl Collins Pickleball and tennis club in Mijas Spain.
Despite temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, there were some great friendly games against members of the Mijas club who included Spanish, English, American, Philippiino and Columbian players.

This weekend Gosport had a few teams play in the local Acorn League played at Alverstoke Club. The teams between them had three wins overall, with quite a few close games. Lots of fun was had by all and have got themselves into a strong position for next season. Well done all keep it going.
