We are proud to officially announce Lauren Bryant as Head Coach for Mat Continuous Based Disciplines.

Lauren is a 4th Dan Black Belt and an exceptionally accomplished competitor, holding 6× ICO World Championship titles, 2× WKO World Championship titles, as well as ISKA English and British titles, alongside multiple Welsh titles 🏴.

With extensive experience competing at some of the highest levels of the sport, Lauren brings deep technical knowledge across a wide range of disciplines, including:
• K1
• Low Kick
• Light Contact
• Sport Boxing
• Kumite
• Points Fighting

In her role as Head Coach for Mat Continuous Based Disciplines, Lauren will support:
• The development and progression of athletes competing on the tatami
• High technical standards across continuous disciplines
• Coach and athlete development within the discipline

This appointment strengthens the coaching structure and continues to raise the standard across mat-based competition.

📣 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – VICE PRESIDENT, ICO WALES 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧

We are proud to officially announce Daniel Huxtable as Vice President of ICO Wales.

Daniel is a multiple World and European Champion across various disciplines and associations, a 4th Dan Black Belt, and brings over 23 years of experience competing at some of the highest levels of sports martial arts.

He is the owner of Fightwear Store UK, and the promoter of the FWS UK Open and The Points Fighter Challenge international tournaments. These events attract some of the most elite international athletes from around the world to compete in Wales — something that, until recently, our small but proud nation had rarely been the host of on this scale.

Stepping into the coaching role in 2013, Daniel has developed and coached multiple World and European Champions, applying a deep level of technical expertise, structure, and long-term athlete development.

In his role as Vice President of ICO Wales, Daniel will support:
• The growth and structure of Kickboxing and Sport Karate in Wales
• Raising competitive and organisational standards
• Athlete, coach, and official development
• Clear pathways from grassroots to elite competition

This appointment marks a significant step forward as the organisation continues to build a strong, professional, and future-focused platform for the sport.
