💛🖤Tough Day 1 at Sports Tours for our Hemsby U11’s 🖤💛

With not another local team in sight, we’ve come up against high level teams from Kent, Essex and as far as Bognor Regis.

As coaches, we are incredibly proud of how hard our team has worked today. The sheer grit and determination to keep going, battling for every ball and never giving up has been brilliant to watch.

The post has been rattled, chances have been created and emotions have been running high 🔥

This is what football development is all about — facing tough opposition, learning together and standing strong as a team.

Tomorrow we go again. Win, lose or draw, we turn up and face what ever is thrown at us 💪🏼⚽️

💛🖤⚽️ Hemsby Sports Tours Weekend – 16th & 17th May ⚽️🖤💛

This weekend at Waters Lane, Hemsby, we’re hosting our seasonal football tournament across both days!
We’re also delighted to have: 🥔 Zaket Potato & 🍻 The Bell Hemsby
joining us throughout the weekend with food and refreshments for everyone.
A huge good luck to all teams taking part — we look forward to a fantastic weekend of football! 🙌

💛🖤 Hemsby Vets 🖤💛

Hemsby Vets go into their last game of the season, facing possible relegation they face a strong MADRA team that are sitting 1 point clear at the top of the table. A victory for the visitors would crown them league champions and seal relegation for Hemsby. The game started well for Hemsby who took the lead through top scorer Dan Royall with a well taken chance. We had the majority of possession and created several chances but a couple of mistakes and gifted MADRA a 2-1 lead at half time. We started the second half and struggled to gain control of the game, conceding a third shortly after the break. We kept at it and pushed for the next goal to put pressure on the visitors. We won a free kick and up stepped Ben Smethurst with a sweetly struck effort that found the top corner with the keeper watching the rocket go past. We did have the ball in the back of the net again but was flagged offside and ruled out. Final score Hemsby 2 - 3 MADRA.
A great effort in what was Hemsby’s best performance of the season, unfortunately too late to avoid relegation. We go again next season with the same spirit and I’m sure we’ll be straight back up.
Congratulations to MADRA on winning the league and good luck in the Championship.
Too many great performances to choose a Man of the Match.

So we’re asking for the support of our local community on this one. I am competing in a 24hour running race at Sandringham on 13th June, last year I raised money for filby primary school for sports equipment, this year I am raising money for the football club so we can continue to support young people in the local community, I am also supporting the MCF who do fantastic work in the surrounding areas. Any donation no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.

Hemsby U11s v Sheringham U11s
Great way to end our Development fixtures this season. A well-fought battle between two very good teams.
Sharing 8 goals, the teams could not be split. Another hat-trick for Max today and a superb free-kick from Finchy that whistled into the back of the net.
POM went to Oliver today 🏆
A great performance by him — some fantastic tackles and he never stopped working. He tried to deal with every situation that came his way and did not shy away from any challenge. Well done Oliver 👏
Our U11s Development fixtures may be over, but we are looking forward to tournaments and friendly games throughout the summer.
Congratulations to all of the Hemsby U11s on a fantastic season ⚽💙
