Small Steps School of Dance A non pressured and inclusive Dance School where everyone is welcome. Small Steps wishes to attract dancers from the ages of 2-10 yr olds temporarily.

Small Steps School Of Dance is run by Samantha who is very passionate about dance and passing this love onto the younger generation. However we wish to progress as we grow as a school, this including adults. The dance styles consist of ballet and tap. We are located at Maybridge Key stone Centre in the Goring area. Classes are Saturday mornings, 2 to 5 year olds 9-10am 5years + 10.00am - 11.00am. When Samantha isn't dancing she works in a local worthing nursery running a pre school room. She has almost 11 years experience in early years. DBS and paediatric first aid trained. Abit about Miss Samantha and her dance background. Samantha began her training at the age of 2 in Mitcham Trademark school of dance, from then moved down to West Sussex and continued training in Miss Dinkie's stage school and Denise Starling school of dance achieving qualifications in both IDTA & UKA where Samantha completed her teacher training qualification. Samantha has taken part in a variety of shows including musical theatre, acting and dancing across West Sussex & across the country and continent.

✨ It was so lovely to be back with you all yesterday and welcome some new faces into our dance family. Lessons came back with a bang! 💥 And the pure joy and smiles through out and your pride as you were leaving was just beautiful to witness. 🫶🏻 As we focus on technique for the next couple of weeks. And then I apologise in advance 🙈 as you start to hear Christmas songs🎄🎶appearing in our sessions as we start preparing for our Christmas showcase! 🙌🏻💙

We are a non pressured dance class in West Sussex. Where we believe children thrive from not having the pressure of exams. We have created an inclusive dance community where life long friends are built. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to build on their confidence whilst learning dance skills. I gave the children the task in yesterday’s class to imagine they were inside a box and that they needed to collaborate and work together to get out the box.

The team work, the imagination, the collaborating but also the leadership and the dance choreography that came out of all the pairs was so lovely to witness.

I will share more as the weeks go on but I thought I’d share this one to begin with. These girls are only 8 and it actually brought tears to my eyes witnessing how far these two have come in confidence recently. And that it shows hard work and dedication pulls off. So proud of you both 🥹💙

✨ Was great to be back with our adult class last night. These ladies have come straight back with a bang 💥 and it was great to see!! I look forward to next week already. 🫶🏻

✨ Another throwback from our showcase ‘After glow 2026’ The seniors live tap! We based this on Stomp the musical and adapted it to our taste. The girls had to work really hard on their team work and musicality. Well done girls you shined ⭐️

✨Come and join us this October half term for all things DANCE! And Halloween themed.

📆 Monday 26th - Tuesday 27th October
📍Maybridge Keystone Centre
⏰ 9am - 3pm

🕸️ Monday our theme will be based around the popular film ‘Hocus Pocus’ Children will learn two dances from two well known tracks. ‘I put a spell on you and come little children.’ Children will also take part in science Halloween themed experiments. And have the chance to make their very own pot of slime to take home. Ending the day with a spooky glow in the dark disco.

🕸️Tuesday will be based around the film ‘Hotel Translavania’ Again learning choreography from well known songs from the film. Children will also enjoy the opportunities of making their own paper jack o lanterns. Decorate a mini pumpkin each and bat decoration. We will also enjoy some Halloween themed yoga and end the day with a showcase for parents.

🕸️ All children will receive a certificate of achievement.

Change of day and time for our lovely sessions run at Creative Heart🩰

✨ With me returning to a new job and different days. I’ve had to have a little juggle of my day time class. So our Littlehampton classes will now be run on a FRIDAY at 1.15-2.00pm. I hope you can still all join us!

We return next Friday 4th so please do message me to book your slot. There is only 10 spaces available, so first come first serve. Book now via sending us a DM or email us at [email protected] to avoid disappointment.
