what do you do to feed your body.
Hormus - yes Uncle Graham Backpackers Hormus. Here we go:
1 cup of chick peas, cover 1 inch over the surface in a saucepan with water, add salt to taste - simmer, slowley, let the love in there.
straight in to your food processor or vitamix in my case. Sorry Lindsay I stole it, before I left. You are never going to use it. Procession is nine tenth of the law.
Ok so add those spices: 1/2 teaspoon of ginger, paprika 1/4 teaspoon of chilli, 1 teaspoon of cumin. add chickpeas and the water. Add 1/2 of a fresh lime, or all of it depending on your taste.
Whisk it up. if it is a bit tight, add some more water, untill you reach your consistancy, that you are happy with.
Now you are saying, what about the Tahine. Well you don,t really need it. I always add some lovely beautiful green olive oil to mine.
Store in the fridge, this stuff is fresh. Not like the supermarket crap. Full of additives and sugars. Its Pure baby. Cost £1.50 - £2.00
