🏆 Yorkshire County Championships 🏆

The 2026 edition came to a close on Sunday with success for Goole player Seb, runner-up in the u18 boys doubles final alongside partner Tanish. Congratulations to them both for a great week.

It brings to an end a brilliant week and a half of tennis and we have five trophies back at Goole.

🏆 a new County Champion for Goole 🏆

Congratulations to Albert, who with his partner Georgia, won the u11 mixed doubles at the Yorkshire County Championships in Leeds yesterday.

They dropped just four games across four matches, forming a brilliant partnership. Later in the day Albert was runner-up in the u14 mixed at the same event alongside partner Natalia.

Well done to all, and good luck to the rest of our players as the tournament goes into its final days.

🏆 YORKSHIRE COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 🏆

Well done to Goole players Albert and Evie for their respective successes so far the the Yorkshire County Championships in Leeds.

Albert made the semi-finals in the boys u11 singles, with Evie doing the same in the girls u14s. Both players ended up third 👏

Albert and partner Olivier were then runners-up in the u11 boys doubles, with Evie and partner Natalia the same in the u14 girls doubles.

🥇 Teesside Open G4 🥈

Well done to Albert and Evie in Stockton this week at the Teesside Open.

Albert won the u11 boys, coming through some tough matches, while Evie was runner-up in the u14 girls and took third in the u16 girls doubles.

The Yorkshire County Championships begin in Leeds today, and it’s the very best of luck to our players competing.

Albert, Alexander, Ethan, Evie, Seb & Tanish will play over the next 10 days; good luck to them and all playing at the John Charles Centre ☘️

🥇 🥈 🥇 🥇

It’s been a great couple of weeks competing for Ethan, winning the Market Bosworth G4 u18 singles and doubles, the Solihull men’s doubles and also runner up at the Thongsbridge u18 doubles.

The Solihull victory was secured 10-5 in the final alongside partner Joseph, while at Market Bosworth he partnered Isaac in the doubles, who edged out in the singles final too.

A great reward for some consistent training, conditioning and preparation. Well done, Ethan 👏

📸 it’s been a terrific couple of weeks for Evie P, competing on the British Tour in successive events at likely and then Northumberland.

This week Evie came through two tough qualifying matches to make the main draw in Jesmond, a great achievement and testament to her enduring hard work. Well played, Evie 👏
