A very emotional morning in the office today..

Today is officially my last day of doing my regular dog walks, and I have to admit, it’s been a very emotional one.

I’m feeling incredibly grateful for every single pair of paws I’ve been trusted with over the past few years. It has been such a privilege to care for so many wonderful dogs, getting to know their little personalities and, of course, creating some very special bonds along the way. 🐾

My final walk was with beautiful Nala, and what a special way to end this chapter. We’ve created such a beautiful bond over the year — there were plenty of kisses, cuddles and, inevitably, a few tears shed today. ❤️

Every dog that comes into my care is loved and treated just like my own, and I will always be so thankful for the trust you’ve placed in me to look after your beloved fur babies.

**Just a little side note:** any pre-booked dog walks will still be going ahead as planned, and all dog walks included with house sitting will also continue as normal. We just won’t be offering a regular dog-walking service moving forward.

As they say, ‘when one door closes, another one opens.’🚪✨

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported me, trusted me and allowed me to be part of your dogs’ lives. It truly means more than you know. ❤️🐾

This September 26th, I'm lacing up my shoes to walk 10km alongside thousands of others, all in support of Cancer Research. It's a cause incredibly close to my heart, as I know it is for so many of us who have seen cancer impact our loved ones. This charity does such vital work, bringing hope and help to countless families. June, what a month! From the rumble of thunderstorms to the blaze of a heatwave, we saw it all. I was bottle-feeding newborn alpacas at 1 AM and then watching the most incredible bonds form between owners and their ponies. There were sunny dog walks, and then some very soggy ones too! What a whirlwind month it was! 💙

And just like that, the week is done and dusted, another holiday cover successfully completed! It's officially 'over and out' for me and these nine absolute beauties. Honestly, looking after them was such a joy – remembering all their names was definitely a memory challenge 🙈, from bouncy puppies right through to the wise golden oldies! We clocked up so many hours in the garden, chasing balls, enjoying cuddles, and they honestly provided endless giggles 🤣. Huge thanks to their owner for trusting me with these incredible girls. 💗🐾

It's reviews like this that make all the hard work worthwhile! So grateful for amazing clients like Carol and for been trusted with all of our clients special animals- that isn’t something that we take for granted ❤️

Emily looked after our 2 English Setters on a 'Live In' basis for 2 weeks recently. Her care of our dogs was nothing short of exemplary. She was extremely capable, extremely knowledgeable and very dog orientated, giving the dogs what appeared to be an extremely good time while we were on holiday, keeping us up to date with messages and pictures. We cannot recommend her highly enough, evidenced by the fact we have already booked her for our next holiday. It goes without saying, we will also use her for any occasion that requires us to be away and only hope she is free.

Today marks the 40th birthday for our legend, Duke! He's our very own homebred, with mum having bred him when she was young. Duke is so much more than just a horse to us; he was the one who showed us what true love is. He kept us company when we were just kids, taught us how to ride (sometimes with a cheeky buck!), but most importantly, he showed us that everyone has their own special "heart horse." You really are a special boy, Duke. We will love you forever and always. 💙

Another holiday cover is underway! This week, we're looking after 9 absolutely beautiful ladies. We've got 6 Labradors, a spaniel, a Staffie and a German Shepherd. Just look at them all – how gorgeous are they?! 💗

Talk about busy! 😅 Two house stays on the go at once this week. Quick trip over to George and Dave for me this evening while Mum's on duty looking after Jager and Arthur. Four very happy boys all round! 🐾💙❤️
