This summer, Duet School of Dance will be presenting Once Upon a Time at Junction in Goole, a spectacular show celebrating Goole’s Bicentenary Year.

At every performance, we will be holding a raffle, with every penny raised going to Goole Youth Action, a fantastic local charity supporting young people in our community.

🎉 AFTER SHOW PARTY 2026 🎉

We are excited to announce the return of our After Show Party!

Over the years, this event has become a real highlight of the Duet School of Dance calendar, bringing together dancers, families and friends to celebrate another amazing show season. This year, we’re proud to be raising funds for our chosen charity, Goole Youth Action, and we’d love your support to help make the event bigger and better than ever.

We’re currently looking for members of our wonderful dance community who can help with any of the following:

🧁 Bakers willing to donate cakes and sweet treats for our bake sale
🎨 Face painters
🏰 Bouncy castle providers or sponsors
🧸 Tombola - please send any prize donations
🐻 We’ll have a “Guess the Name of the Teddy” competition
🎪 Anyone interested in running a stall at the event
💛 Anyone who would like to make a donation or contribution towards our fundraising efforts

Whether you can help with a small donation, volunteer your time, provide a prize, or simply come along and enjoy the afternoon, every bit of support makes a difference.

🌟 Dancer of the Month – May 2026 🌟

We are so proud to announce Luna Holliday as our May Dancer of the Month here at Duet School of Dance 🖤

Luna has made a little piece of Duet history, becoming the youngest dancer we have ever awarded Dancer of the Month to, and the first dancer from her class to receive this recognition.

Despite her young age, Luna comes to every class with such a positive attitude and always gives everything a go. She works incredibly hard, listens carefully, and has an amazing memory for all of her show routines. We have been especially impressed with the confidence she is showing when performing her dances – something that can be challenging even for much older dancers!

Her ballet is looking particularly beautiful at the moment, with technique that is exceptional for someone so young. Most importantly, Luna is always smiling, bringing happiness and enthusiasm into the studio every week. She is a joy to teach and watch grow.

We are so proud of you, Luna, and we can’t wait to see you shine on stage this July. Congratulations – this award is so well deserved! ✨

Beginnings by Duet — for age 12–36 months - Mondays - 9.45-10.30am

Beginnings by Duet is a gentle, playful introduction to dance where toddlers can explore movement, music, and imagination — all while enjoying quality bonding time with an adult.

Each class includes:
✨ Movement to music
✨ Exploring the studio space
✨ Building coordination and confidence
✨ Props, fun movement and sensory time
✨ Time to connect with your child through shared movement
✨ A rainbow parachute and lots of bubbles

A perfect stepping stone into our main class structure which they can start to progress through when your little one turns 2! (please note that dancers will need to be added to our waiting list for this class).
Join us for a joyful start to their dance journey.
