A great weekend at North of Scotland Kart Club for the Scottish!

A big grid of 25 junior max drivers from all over Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏎

Absolute excellent event ran great by the club. Thanks to all that organised and took time to make sure the weekend ran smoothly👍

Arrived Thursday night to make sure we were ready for Friday practice!! Less said about Thursday night the better…shambles!!

Friday practice was good had some decent pace changing set up in preparation for Saturday racing!

Saturday we had two heats and we did well.
Heat 1: P21 - P7
Heat 2: P4 - P6

Sunday
Heat 3: P9 -P5
Heat 4: P17 -P4
Final: P3 - P5

Overall happy with the results.

First round of the Scottish Super Series this past weekend at North of Scotland Kart Club
Weather was dry all weekend. Good weekend of racing with practice Friday, Saturday and racing Sunday.

Good pace all weekend against a strong grid of 31 juniors from all over Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Race Day
Heat 1 P11 -P3
Heat 2 P16 -P3 on track 8 after bumper penalty 😩
Heat 3 P1 -P3
Final P5 -P5 on track 11 after another bumper penalty 😩

Decent enough points for the championship though.

Onto round 2 at Grampian Kart Club in two weeks.

Round 1 of the Scottish Super Series North of Scotland Kart Club in Golspie Friday practice went well another day of practice today and on to racing tomorrow 🏎🏎🏎

Great weekend at Grampian Kart Club last minute decision to race! Decent grid of 15 Juniors.

Saturday practice day we were on it the pace was amazing.

Sunday Race Day

Heat 1: Qualified P3
Heat 2: P2
Heat 3: P2
Final: P4 Very rare mistake by my mechanic (Dad) went to lean on the fuelling was popping all over the track! I will let him off as he normally gets it bang on! 😂

Good weekend racing North of Scotland Kart Club changeable conditions all weekend, dry then wet and some snow thrown in just to mix it up!!

Saturday had amazing pace in the wet and dry.

Sunday race day

Heat 1: P1
Heat 2: P3 (fastest lap)
Heat 3: P2 (fastest lap)
Final: P1. - The most bizarre final was dry for around half the race then a strong snow shower came in! The track was soaked and we were on slicks!! Managed to nurse it found and finished on top😀
Well done Aiden MacDonald Racing for P2 and Owen Towler for third place👍

First race of 2023 for us and a top step on the podium 🏁🏁

Winter Series round 3 Crail. Good grid of 14 Juniors.
Good weekend all round, Saturday practice set the pace and was flying!

Sunday nice dry conditions meant slicks all day.

Heat 1: Couple mistakes meant I finished P13 🤦‍♂️

Heat 2: P1 got my head down and it paid off.

Heat 3: P4 solid performance

Final: P1 🏁🏁

A cold weekend of winter karting East of Scotland Kart Club for the second round of the winter series🥶

Saturday practice we had some set up niggles but the team had the kart stripped and sourced the change needed much thanks to Team NMR👌

Sunday Race Day

Heat 1: P11 to P3 on track but p4 with a bumper penalty

Heat 2: Started P1 - Racing incident with another kart leaving me to pull my kart out the gravel and rejoin, head was down managed to catch the pack. P12

Heat 3: P8-P3

Final: P5-P3

North of Scotland Kart Club for the last club round and final round of the Northern challenge.
First time out in my new kart, 🐊. Had the kart set up great on Saturday and was putting in some fast laps🔥

Sunday race day managed to stay dry, great day with some incidents!

Heat 1: Was leading until punted off resulting in a DNF.
Heat 2: P1 on track but 5 second penalty put me back to 4th
Heat 3: P1
Final: Challenging to take the lead and made a mistake which caused me to spin and finish 4th

Overall well impressed with the new Madcroc.
Well done to Alex Hawcutt Racing, Aiden MacDonald Racing and Mark Patterson for the podium.
