As summer gives way to autumn the lake transforms into something truly magical 🍁 Autumn colours, crisp air and the combination of a cold lake dip and a hot sauna — there is nothing quite like it ❄️🔥

🛟An important message from the Divers Cove team

We have had the most incredible summer at the lake and we are so grateful to every single one of you who has swum with us this season ☀️

As we head into the final weeks of summer we wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of the rules and commitments you agree to when booking and completing your waiver — these exist to keep every single person at the lake safe and to ensure everyone has the best possible experience 👇

🏊‍♀️ Divers Cove is an open water swimming venue — all swimmers must be capable of completing our 450m or 650m marked swim routes unaided
🚫 We do not permit bathing, paddling, dipping or free swimming — laps around our marked routes only
🪁 Tow floats are mandatory for all swimmers not wearing a wetsuit — they are a safety aid, not a substitute for swimming ability
🧢 A brightly coloured swim hat is mandatory at all times in the water
👨‍👩‍👧 Children must be capable swimmers and must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times
⏱️ Please adhere to your booked session time — bank space is very limited and the next group of swimmers need access
🚫 We do not allow sunbathing or spectators sitting on our bank space — due to high demand for swimming our limited bank area must be kept free for swimmers only
❌ 48hr cancellation policy applies — no time changes or refunds within 48hrs of your booking
📋 All swimmers must have completed our waiver and provided medical and emergency contact information before entering the water

These rules are in place for everyone’s safety and are a condition of entry. Our team will be enforcing them consistently and we ask for your full cooperation and respect for your fellow swimmers.

We want Divers Cove to be a place where serious swimmers and beginners alike can enjoy the lake safely and confidently — and that only works when everyone plays their part.

The heat has been something else — and the swimming has been absolutely incredible. Things have cooled down slightly but the water is still a gorgeous 25°C and with more warm weather forecast. Summer at Divers Cove is well and truly here ☀️

📅 This week’s sessions:
🏊 Mon–Thu: 5–7pm
🍕 Fri: 5–8pm (pizza night!)
🏊‍♀️ Sat am: 🏊‍♀️ 9-12, 🧖‍♀️ 9-1
🍕 NEW — Sat pm: 4–7pm (pizza sessions, new for the rest of the season!)
🏊‍♀️ Sun am: 🏊‍♀️ 9-12, 🧖‍♀️ 9-1
🏊‍♂️ Sun pm: 🏊‍♂️ 4-6 🧖‍♀️ 4-6

🌡️ Wetsuit reminder — we measure water temp before every session. Above 26°C and we’ll be advising swimmers to think about leaving the wetsuit on the bank. Worth bearing in mind when packing your kit this week!
