From 6–8 November 2026, Godshill Park Farm will host the Rasa Yoga Chakra Radiance Weekend Retreat.

A full weekend of yoga, pranayama, meditation and deep rest, designed to give you the time and space to slow down, reset and reconnect.

October half-term with room to spread out.

Half-term is much easier when everyone has enough space. Depending on availability, guests can book individual en-suite rooms or discuss taking the whole Barn, which can work especially well for multi-generational families who want private bedrooms and time together around one table.

With Island attractions, countryside and the coast within reach, you can keep the week flexible. If half-term is on your mind, now is a good time to ask what is available.

Ventnor Botanic Garden makes a relaxed September outing, especially when combined with a walk through Ventnor and time beside the sea.

The planting and sheltered setting give the area a distinctive feel.

Ryde's main carnival takes place on 3 September, followed by the illuminated procession on 5 September.

It brings colour, music and community energy to the town, while the Barn offers a calm place to return to afterwards.

There’s something special about this time of year on the Island. The summer crowds begin to soften, but the sea can still feel beautifully warm.

If you’re looking for a lovely coastal outing during your stay, Totland Bay is a wonderful choice. It’s a great spot for a swim, a gentle wander along the shore, or simply sitting back and soaking up the view. On a calm day, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay a little longer.

If you time it right, you can also stay on to watch the sunset, which is often absolutely stunning from Totland Bay. It’s a simple pleasure, but one that feels very memorable.
