The season may have finished but we are still hard at work making sure GHC remains a great place to play!

Big thank you to members of the Gondos who have spent their free time sprucing up the pitchside 'sheds'. So home and away teams have somewhere clean and dry before during and after matches! Not that the weather's anything but perfect when the hockey season is on!!

Dave, Tim, Chris, Ben and John - you are what makes Guildfird a great place to play!

Bronze for U12 Boys at Derby Indoor Nationals 🥉

An early start and some soaring temperatures saw the U12 boys start their indoor campaign.

They had a tough draw including the eventual worthy winners but played some brilliant hockey during the fast and furious 10 minute matches.

Some dominant group wins saw the boys place 2nd in their group and into the 3/4th play offs.

A 2-1 win over a talented Hockey Mentors team sealed the BRONZE!

A great end to what has been a brilliant season for this squad

What a fabulous weekend of Masters hockey this weekend.

Eight teams representing all the areas came together to fight for medals in the ladies over 50s Regional competition.

There were loads of laughs and dancing and great hockey on display!

South East closely lost out on Gold to East in 2025, so were out there guns blazing to get their trophy back.
came down to the final game against South Central and South East managed a strong finish to seal it 2-0 and take the cup home.

East finished one point behind in a reversal of 2025 and took home a well deserved silver. South Central had a number of injuries to contend with but still held on for a well fought for Bronze medal.

Guildford Hockey Club was the perfect venue with two pitches, plenty showers and change rooms and catering facilities upstairs in the bar.

The club put on a lovely meal on Saturday evening for all the players. Lots of sore legs by the end but many tired smiles. Lovely to see so many familiar faces and catch up with old friends.

They only went and won the Cup!!

Huge congratulations to the Guildford O55s who had a decisive win over Dorset and Bournemouth Wanderers.

Well done - looking forward to adding that to the Trophy Shelf!

Our wonderful W3 were honing their skills this weekend ahead of their T2 National Cup Final game at Lee Valley this weekend

Their hardworking dedication has really paid off this season - they are undefeated and we are sure it will remain like that this weekend!

Congratulations to our GU12 who came 5th at SE regionals at the weekend.

Coached by Rosie Hope & Corey Strang they were unlucky to miss out on a 3/4 playoff & chance for a bronze medal but finished on a strong win.

Great positive team attitude all round with some cracking goals being scored all morning and sensational saves by GK Arabella.
