Here’s how you TREAT yourself....
🧭 40 SECS ON each exercise BACK to BACK (take rests between if needed)
⌛️ REST 1-2 MINS, rehydrate, stretch, focus
🔄 2 - 6 ROUNDS - GOAL 🙌🏻
Be careful not to TRICK yourself, here’s a few helpful Halloween hints!
🎃 SQUATS- hinge from hips, bend legs as low as flexibility/mobility allows, butt below knee height, chest up, heels grounded.
🎃 PRESS-UPS- option on knees or toes, bend from elbows, lead with chest, no floor hu***ng
🎃 WOODCHOPS- core MUST be braced at all times, ease into it no rush, focus on getting the waist to work in that rotation, no shoulder shrugging
🎃 LUNGES- nice long stride fwd, option with or without the rotation, keep hips square, activate glutes & core then push off through front heel to reset. Don’t let front knee roll in, get front thigh parallel to floor as you lower through back leg close, lock it then rotate
🎃 SHOOT OUTS- option with our without your pumpkin if you have lower back probs or a weaker core. You can do single leg extensions & ground other leg for extra support. Don’t OVERARCH lower back, focus on the abs bringing you up into the crunch not your head/neck. Keep slow & controlled.
