Last nights AGM for the Gloucester Pool League was a great success with an amazing turn out representing all teams from all divisions. This was followed by the presentation recognising all winners.

The winners form the recent Summer League are as follows:-

In addition to the previous message regarding the funeral of Ady Williams...

Funeral Service

Date: Tuesday, 28th July 2026
Time: 12:00pm
Location: Cheltenham Crematorium, Oak Chapel GL52 5JT.

Following the service at Cheltenham Crematorium all are welcome to gather at The Irish Club Horton Road Gloucester GL1 3QA to remember and celebrate Ady's life.

Following the wake, Dawn has kindly offered to open up “the back room” and the pool tables at Top Q 9 Southbrook Rd, Gloucester GL4 3YY. This will happen as the wake draws to a close.

To allow the pool playing community, and all of Ady's friends, to play; reminisce and remember him around what was very dear to him.

The family of Ady Williams have asked that the following funeral arrangements be shared with those who knew him.

Funeral Service

Date: Tuesday, 28th July 2026
Time: 12:00pm
Location: Cheltenham Crematorium, Oak Chapel

A gathering will be held following the service. Further details of the venue and arrangements will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.

All who knew Ady are warmly invited to attend the funeral and join the family in celebrating his life.

Dress Code

Ady was never a fan of traditional formal suits. As a tribute to his longstanding involvement in the pool community, the family have requested that those who wish to do so wear formal pool attire (black trousers, black shoes, and a pool shirt). For those who do not have pool attire, standard funeral dress is, of course, perfectly appropriate.

For anyone who is unable to attend in person but would still like to pay their respects, the service will be live streamed as well and stored for a couple of weeks. Anyone wishing to view the stream live or watch it at a later date would need to contact Ryan Sharky Williams for access details. 🎱
