University of Gloucestershire Rugby League UoG’s premier team. Competing in BUCS Premier South, developing players to international standard.

The University of Gloucestershire Rugby League Team ( ) is the universities highest achieving sports team. Winning national and regional trophies as well as providing world-class athlete development and performance environments with our scholarship programmes.The UGRL programme has lead to 23 players gaining international caps for their countries in the Four Nations Championships and World Cup

UGRL has two teams who come together on the field playing at Plock Court, Gloucester, with many fans from all sports clubs coming to show their support for us. Off the field, UGRL enjoy a wide variety of social events such as paint balling, team meals at Nando's, the races, trips across Europe, tours and the Wednesday night socials which are held Revolution's in Cheltenham. We also have a strong Old Boys allegiance who frequently re-live their student days with us.

A big congrats to our 2 league boys playing Rugby union Varsity on Friday !

Following in the steps of our ex-club captain Mac and star-boy toy Tom wills these two are sure to be an exciting addition to the varsity squad.
With Joe lighting Capener joining the backline ankles are sure to be broken and Adrian the Powerhouse Perez joining the forwards to smash through tackles and break the lines.
