First day of competition at the 2016 BUCS indoors and the St. Marys teams never been so depleted.

None the less... this didn't stop Adeline who claimed 1st place in the women's 60m... Not only did she win, her time of 7.31 equals the championship record!!

Succesful weekend at BUCS Cross. Team gold in the mens B race as well as an individule gold for Tom Austin. There was also sucess for our mens and womans team, securing team silver. Men's A race saw Jacob Allen run to 5th, Jack Rowe came 7th, Ellis Cross was 16th, Corey De'ath, 50th and Rowan Preece 60th. In the woman's race Louise Small was 7th, followed by Adelle Tracey in 8th, Amy Griffiths in 15th, Rebecca Howard in 16th and Alanah Harris 25th. In the

Great results for our athletes today! U20 Woman Amy Griffith's places 38th, U23 men's race Richard goodman placed 11th and Jacob Allen 32nd. In the Woman's senior race Steph Twell placed 6th. Well done guys!

Fantastic performance today from two of our athletes at the SESSA indoors 2015. Emma Cowell finished 2nd in the high jump & Ami Fosker finished 2nd in the 400m. Well done girls, representing the university and doing a fine job of it.

Its official, we have three St Mary's university students and one ex-student (Steph Twell) representing Great Britain at the European XC championships!

EUROPEAN CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPION STEEL SELECTED IN 36-STRONG TEAM

British Athletics’ today announced the 36-strong team heading to the European Cross Country Championships including reigning champion Gemma Steel (coach: John Nuttall) who will defend her senior women’s title in Hyères, France on Sunday 13 December.

Big success for St Mary's AC this weekend at Liverpool European XC Trails! Congratulations to simmies Amy Griffiths, Richard Goodman and Captain Jacob Allen who all gained automatic qualification for the European XC champs in France in a few weeks time. Some other team selections still to be announced which could see more simmies in international vests!
