Girls rugby at Gordon League RFC in Hempsted is returning this Sunday, after the summer break ☀️

⏰11am - 12pm

As we are one of the only clubs in the county that actively runs “Girls Only” sessions for Primary School aged girls, we endeavour to provide the best possible experience, whilst enabling girls to find a sport that they really love, that isn’t usually delivered in school.

We try to create a culture that makes them feel safe and happy, with lots of like minded girls.

We offer contact and non contact versions of the game and will work with them at a pace that suits their development.

This Sunday, 10-11am, we shall be running some fun activities to keep girls active, meet new people and have lots of fun…

No experience or rugby knowledge needed, we shall be running activities that are active, purposeful and enjoyable, many of which do not even involve a rugby ball.

The session is FREE and we can’t wait to meet you.❤️

Well that’s another season of Girls Rugby come to an end. 😢
We’ve added new faces, been joined by World Cup and PWR winners, we’ve experienced a joint training session with another club, enjoyed a Rugby and Crafts Activity day, as well as hosted 300+ Primary school girls. Not forgetting loads of fun and laughter together, no matter the weather.

We hope to meet some of you during our Summer sessions, starting in July.

Last week many of our girls went and had an away day with our friends at Dursley RFC. Everyone had a great time and can’t wait until they come back to Hempsted to train/play with us again…

If your daughter is interested in trying something new, or maybe she tried it at primary school and would like to continue. Come along, we run our sessions each Sunday until May.

Yesterday some of our girls took a trip to our friends at Dursley RFC, to take part in some T1 rugby joint training.
The girls had a lovely time and it was lovely to meet up with another club with a load of Primary School aged girls.
Looking forward to hosting them back at ours.
