Day two of ‘res’ was just as fantastic as day one! So many barriers pushed, so much confidence gained, so many smiles and so much laughter ❤️ Our three wonderful instructors- Ellie, Tanya and Alastair absolutely got the best out of their groups and everyone not only had fun but they learned lots too. What more can you ask?! Yet again it was all hands on deck to help and support each other, with our older members being fabulous mentors and support for our younger members and those who’d never attended a residential camp before. We are the luckiest branch to have such fabulous young people- thank you all for your hard work, encouragement and inclusivity throughout the camp. 🥰 Every single member earned their rosettes and badges through their hard work and fabulous attitude, well done to you all! 👏
We owe our wonderful committee member Sarah Armstrong the biggest of thanks for organising such a fun, relaxed, and incredibly enjoyable res. The number of conversations I had with people who want another one soon shows how much fun they had with this form of camp- so enjoy a rest while you can Sarah! 😜 Huge thanks also to all of the parents who came, camped, and supported every single young person- their young person or not! A very special team❤️❤️
