Calling all Year 1 & Year 2 girls! 👧⚽🌟

We’re really excited to be launching a brand-new girls’ team at Longford Youth FC, and we’re looking for girls who would love to come along and give football a go! 🎉🙌

Whether your daughter already loves football or has never played before, she’ll be very welcome. It’s all about having fun, making new friends, building confidence and developing football skills together. ⚽

At this age, football is all about having fun, making new friends, building confidence and learning new skills in a friendly and welcoming environment. 🌟⚽😊

No previous football experience is needed! Whether they already love kicking a ball around or this will be their first experience of football, everyone is welcome. 💚🖤

☀️⚽ A Brilliant Morning for our Longford Emeralds U8 Girls! 💚💎

Our Emeralds travelled away to Cinderford this morning for another fantastic Sunday of football in the sunshine! ☀️⚽🙌

The girls were brilliant from start to finish, showing some fantastic teamwork, confident dribbling and scoring some great goals along the way! 🌟⚽ It’s brilliant to see their confidence growing and the football developing week after week, all while playing with big smiles on their faces. 😊💚

🏆 OPOTM – Jasmine

A huge congratulations to Jasmine, who was selected as Opposition Player of the Match! 👏🎉 A fantastic performance and a thoroughly deserved award. Well done, Jasmine! 💪⚽🌟

A massive well done to every single one of our girls for another great performance. Keep working hard, supporting each other and enjoying your football! 💚💎

☀️⚽ A Fantastic Morning for our Longford Emeralds U9 Girls! 💚💎

Our Emeralds travelled away to Leckhampton Bobcats this morning on a very sunny and hot day, and what a brilliant morning of football it was! ☀️⚽👏

The girls showed some fantastic teamwork and played some lovely football throughout. One of the best things to see was everyone getting the opportunity to experience different positions – we had 4 different captains and 4 different goalkeepers, with the girls embracing every challenge and giving their all wherever they played. 💚🙌

🏆 OPOTM – Arianna
A huge well done to Arianna for being selected as Opposition Player of the Match! You were incredibly strong on the ball today, with some fantastic dribbling and confident play. Brilliant performance! 🔥⚽👏

⭐ POTM – Charlotte
Congratulations to Charlotte, our Player of the Match! Your attitude was incredible today and you set a fantastic example for the whole team. You made some brilliant saves in goal and were absolutely solid when playing in defence. A thoroughly deserved award! 🧤💪🌟

A massive well done to every single girl – great football, great attitudes and fantastic teamwork. We’re already looking forward to our next away game! 💚⚽

☀️⚽ What a brilliant morning for our U8/U9 Girls! 💚🌟

The girls enjoyed a fantastic in-house game today, and every single player gave it their all. It was great to see so much hard work in training being put into practice, with some brilliant football, excellent teamwork and loads of smiles on a lovely sunny morning. 👏⚽😊

🌍💚 This morning our U8/U9 Girls swapped their football boots for litter pickers as they headed out to help keep our local community clean! 🗑️👏

The girls did an amazing job, working together to collect litter and showing fantastic teamwork, respect and pride in their local area. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved with big smiles on their faces while making a real difference to the environment. 🌱😊

A huge well done to all of the girls for your hard work and positive attitudes today. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves – you were fantastic ambassadors for Longford Youth FC! 💚⚽
