Been so busy of late our 8th birthday passed by in a flash! Getting stronger as a dojo by the day, great esprit du corp, fantastic group of dedicated guys putting in the work and reaping the benefits too - a culture to be proud of and one that is just a pipe dream for many clubs. Tough yet supportive, but with none of the usual hierarchy / obedience nonsense so often to be found in a dojo, and worse, rationalized as necessary to teach students "discipline". I have the pleasure of working everyday with good people, adding my little bit of guidance to their personal journey whenever I can.

Whilst we have gone through several stages in our development and I personally have gone through a revolution in my own understanding of my vocation, the founding principles of Seishin Dojo remain faithfully intact to this day, and it's somewhat of an irony that this plaque remains proudly mounted on a wall here, goes unnoticed by almost everyone, except me, but where everyday I remind myself of our purpose!

If things go to form the next 8 years will pass by in a flash, be worth every moment and of course leave the past even further behind, both figuratively and literally lol
