Seve Kukielka rules the world! Claiming the World Adventure Golf Tour title at Aces Minigolf Gloucester this afternoon!

Congratulations to Seve who becomes the first ever player from Britain to be crowned World champion in the sport of Minigolf

🏆𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 – 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝🏆

Across the last two tournaments in the British and Welsh Crazy Golf Championships, there has been a notable shift in momentum at the top end of the standings, with Gloucester Aces Minigolf Club not managing to take the maximum points on either occasion 👀

Instead, Strokes Minigolf Club produced an excellent home performance to secure a full 12 points, while Dragons Minigolf Club replicated that result with a strong showing on home turf in Prestatyn last weekend 🙌

Despite this, Gloucester remain at the top of the overall standings, but the recent results have kept the pressure on and ensured the title race remains finely balanced as the season progresses.

An excellent performance from Foxes Minigolf Club saw them take 2nd place in Prestatyn. Both HASTINGS MINIGOLF CLUB and Gemini Golf Club were well represented at both tournaments but found themselves just outside the points places.

Tomorrow sees the fourth Welsh Crazy Golf Championship run by the Dragons Minigolf Club taking place at Prestatyn Crazy Golf, North Wales with a record number of 50 entrants for the competition.

During last weekends proceedings at the British Championships at Margate the various shield winners where all presented with their awards from the 2025 season.

Congratulations to the 2025 Shield Winners.
Overall and Category 3 Winner - Gary Combs (Dragons Minigolf Club)
Category 2 Winner - Jon Angel (Foxes Minigolf Club )
Women's Winner - Leah Cassidy (Gloucester Aces Minigolf Club)

Gloucester Aces Minigolf Club were also presented with the inaugural Club Shield after a dominant display in 2025. Luke Ryan picked up the trophy on behalf of the club.

For the 2nd year running, Seve Kukielka was the presented with the end of year Order of Merit award for finishing as the #1 ranked player.

Congratulations to Adam Kelly, our British Champion for 2026. Finishing on -37 overall Adam completed 7 rounds without dropping a single shot throughout the weekend. An incredible performance! Marc Chapman finished 2nd and Seve Kukielka in 3rd 🇬🇧🏆🇬🇧

We also congratulate our Senior Champion Jon Angel; Super Senior Champion Richard Jones; Women’s Champion Ruth Sturdy 🏆

What a fantastic day of Minigolf! Some excellent play from all, after four rounds British Open Champion Adam Kelly leads the field after his dominant display in Hastings in the autumn… 👀

Jon Angel leads the Seniors, Richard Jones the Super Senior and Ruth Sturdy the female category. 👌👍

🇬🇧 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 & 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤 🇬🇧

The British Championships return over the weekend of 21–22 March at Strokes Adventure Golf in Margate, widely regarded as one of the country’s best courses. Its challenging layout, featuring round killers like holes 7, 8, and the famed Heartbreak Ridge on hole 11, promises to push every competitor to their limits.

All champions will be crowned across the various categories. Ruth Sturdy, the defending female champion, will be aiming to build on her remarkable success, though she faces a host of challengers in what has become an intensely competitive field. In the senior category, Jon Angel of Foxes Minigolf Club will be looking to continue his excellent form, while the Super Senior title is wide open this year following the absence of reigning champion Terry Exall. A small junior contingent will be taking part, and while there will be no official junior champion this year due to numbers, young players are encouraged to get involved and gain valuable experience.

The General Class Male category is packed with talent and experience. Seve Kukielka, the current British No. 1, will be looking to defend his title against formidable opponents including British Open Champion Adam Kelly, World Crazy Golf Champion Marc Chapman, and British Adventure Golf Champion James Rutherford, among others. With such a strong field, every round is expected to be fiercely contested.

On the team side, the Club Shield continues to be dominated by Gloucester Aces, but other clubs will see this weekend as the perfect opportunity to claim 12 points for the first time this season.

One thing is certain: spectators and competitors alike can expect some truly exciting minigolf over the weekend. Best of luck to all taking part in what promises to be a thrilling showcase of skill, strategy, and competitive spirit.
