12 weeks into our 16 week Performance Aesthetics LIFT Program at Wolfpack Strength & Fitness
Iβve stuck to 3 x LIFT sessions a week for the last 12 weeks with a couple of Maximise and Engine Room sessions dotted around it.
Iβve not had any booze (been of it for 474 days now)
I've not been super strict with my nutrition - as in calorie counting and tracking macros
I've just leaned into a bit more weight training than I normally would have done in the past and made sure that I applied the progressive overload principle to each session
But overall it's been the consistency piece that's paid off for me and I've still got four weeks to go (from the time of the second photo)
I'm heading off on holiday tomorrow with my three boys and my family to Spain. I'm going to do a week of nothing, no training, just relaxing...
And then when I come back I'll finish this programme off and get prepared for the next one
Here's the thing: what you focus on grows... I decided 12 weeks ago that I was just going to focus more on weights in my training instead of working in the gym all the time.
And just from making that small adjustment arguably I'm in the best shape I've been in for a long while and I'm pretty happy with how it's going so far
