Our new MMA/STRIKING sessions start tomorrow…

Led by soon to be turning pro heavyweight Billy Lovell & Layton Lovell.!

Monday (tomorrow) 6pm-7:30pm followed by NOGI jiu-jitsu 7:30-9

All kit will be supplied for the mma/striking sessions, all you gotta do is turn up.! 💪

Junior striking sessions will soon be available in the coming weeks.!

We are pleased to announce as of next week we will have 2 MMA sessions a week, these sessions will be lead by the Lovell brothers.!

These sessions will be

Mondays 6pm - 7:30pm
Thursdays 7:30pm - 9pm

These are perfect for beginners to learn how to strike and defend.!

Billy is currently ranked #10 heavyweight in the UK soon to be going pro.! So you’re in the right place to learn.!

People ask us why we encourage cross training, well it’s easy.!

If your coach/coaches do not like you cross training, your training in the wrong place.!

If other teams/clubs don’t like people dropping in even though the mat fee is paid and they follow the rules then that’s not the place to go. Jiu-jitsu is about meeting new people and expanding knowledge and growing.

You shouldn’t have to worry about being told off or frowned upon by your coaches for cross training.!

There are loads of benefits from doing so.! Meeting and learning from different people, different styles and different practices.

Don’t limit your self and your game to one place.! Represent your team by cross training and wearing their badge.! Add things to your skill set that aren’t taught at your current place but get taught when dropping in else where.

If you have free day and want to make it up with more training, go and drop in to another club, attend that seminar that’s hosted by another gym. Don’t let politics limit you.!
