As I got older, I realised I'd lost muscle and needed to focus on strength training to stay healthy and active. Joining A2Z Fitness was a big step for me because my previous gym experiences were intimidating, with the weights area often dominated by men.

Most people think those getting results are simply working harder.

They're not.

The difference is having a plan, staying consistent, and getting the right support.

Because effort without direction often leads to frustration.

But when you know exactly what to do, have coaches guiding you, and a system that keeps you accountable, results become a lot more predictable.

One of the best things is seeing the same people every session and building real friendships along the way. The atmosphere is welcoming, supportive, and full of good banter.

I book my sessions in advance, so I know exactly when I'm training. I don't have to think about what workout I'm doing because everything is planned for me, and the coaches are always there to help with technique and keep me progressing.

It's a lack of guidance.

Most people walk into a gym with no plan, no coaching, and no idea if they're doing things correctly.

Over time, they stick to their comfort zone, avoid certain exercises, and never build real confidence.

Confidence comes from knowing what to do, how to do it, and having the right support around you.

That's when training becomes enjoyable. 💪
