This is simply pointing out why you might not feel hip thrusts in your bum

Don’t get this mixed up im not saying your shin needs to stay at a perfect 90 degree angle

Its naturally going to move a little, esspecialy when you go heavier

What’s important is if your trying to grow your bum,

Your bum (like a standard wednesday night) needs to be recieveing the biggest stimulus and getting hammered by it.

Most people don’t need a deload
They need to give at minimum an extra 20% effort

However

If you’re always feeling

- Stressed
- Joints beat up
- Fatigue that won’t go
- Getting weaker every session
- Sleep gone to s**t

And it’s not just a bad session or couple of days

Then it’s probably time for one

Believe me, you’ll know when it’s time for one

Gravity wants to pull the bar straight down in a vertical line

The second that bar drifts from your centre base (middle of your foot)

Your back is going to be fighting to support the weight and stop you folding

Knees and hips should start to bend at the same time as you descend

Too much of one and you will find that foot pressure getting uneven

Not only is it uncomfortable and dangerous but it’s seriously going to limit the amount you can squat
