Skills AWARD Hockey Academy The BRHA Skills Award Hockey Academies are being launched in Preston and Glossop in Early 2022.

These will be followed soon after by two Affiliate sites at Devils Juniors (Atherton) and Lions Juniors (Ardwick).

Saturday was the last of our first run of 10 sessions at the Preston Phoenix Academy.

What a great group of kids and the progression has been brilliant.

Hopefully we will be back in September.

Preston Phoenix Academy Session 9 of 10 and an old classic drill was introduced, the 3 man weave and loads of game time at our session today.

Brilliant effort from all the boys and girls.

Next session is 21st May 1 to 3pm.

This week we put all are skills in to practice. Skating, passing and shooting in the horseshoe drill.

Great session yesterday at Glossop Leisure Centre! pretty sure we’ve found our goalie in marcel, the smile on his face with all his gear on showed it all! It’s crazy how much spread our big kids have gained and how confident the little ones have got! Little ones had plenty of fun with hula hoops and jumps too 🥅🏒

Can't believe how much these kids have all improved their skating. From some of them not being able to stand up to controlling the puck, passing and playing games. The next session at Preston Phoenix Academy is 7th May at Preston's College.
