10lbs down so far

This is Jon. Jon came to me 6 weeks ago, ready to make some big changes.

With his busy life, filled with work, family, and being involved in lots of community goings on, he was finding that his health and fitness were taking a back seat.

He made the decision to go all in and commit to having three sessions a week with me, as well as making changes to his diet and generally focusing on being more active where possible.

As you can see from his progress photos, he's doing amazingly well so far. And this is just the beginning!

Sam has done amazingly well since we started working together in September.

She started off as a super-nervous person, who would barely make eye contact with me in our first meeting πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

She's now transformed into a fully-fledged 'gym person' who I have spotted on the treadmill at 6am some mornings - out of choice?!

She's now signed up to do her first ever Hyrox Relay event, with some of her fellow 12 Week Resetters.
She's come a long way, and it's so great to see how much more confident she is in the gym!

One of the first things I recommend my nutrition coaching clients focus on is protein intake.

Before we even think about calories, carbs or portion sizes, we look at protein. Why? Because without enough protein you won't be able to build lean muscle that you need to make your body into an efficient, fat-burning machine!

If you want to naturally burn more calories even at rest, you need to build muscle. Muscle requires more energy to maintain and just having more of it on your body increases your metabolism.

So before we do anything we make sure you are getting enough protein so you can build those muscles, baby!!

Once you've mastered getting your protein in then we can start making other tweaks to your nutrition. Protein isn't the whole picture, but it's a good place to start.

Since leaving my full time job to run my own business, it's been so important to remember to enjoy some time off. Any small biz owners will know, your business becomes your hobby as well as your job.

Finding balance between being passionate about what I do and being able to switch off is something I am working on!
