A brilliant, competitive game between two very good teams tonight! 👏⚽️

Both sides played excellent football, with Tiki Taka creating plenty of chances. The East Fife goalkeeper was outstanding, making several fantastic saves. 🔥🧤

East Fife took the lead in the second half with a sensational goal, but Tiki Taka responded strongly. Wee JP earned a penalty before Greg scored twice to complete a great comeback. 💪⚽️

A huge thank you to East Fife Golds for giving us such a good game, and to everyone who came along to support the boys.

A huge thank you to East Fife Golds for joining us this evening for a friendly fixture.

After some of our players unfortunately missed out on game time at the weekend, tonight provides a valuable opportunity for them to get back on the pitch and enjoy the minutes they deserve.

We’re looking forward to a competitive and enjoyable match, with both teams having the opportunity to play some quality football in a positive environment. 🤝⚽️

Not the best of days for Azul today and certainly not the standard of performance we’ve been treated to recently.

Fair play to Templehall — they wanted the win that little bit more today and deserved the result. 🤝

It was a back-and-forth game with both teams creating chances, but we just couldn’t find our usual rhythm.

The boys will learn from today, keep their heads up and come back stronger. 💪⚽️

This weekend we face Blue Brazil, arguably one of the strongest teams in the league and a side we have a lot of respect for. 🤝⚽️

It will be a great challenge for our boys and another opportunity for them to test themselves against a very good team.

⚽️ AZUL vs CROSSGATES ⚽️

The second time we’ve faced Crossgates in the space of a week, and both teams came out with plenty of energy from the first whistle.

The first half was very scrappy, with both teams getting on the scoresheet and plenty of challenges going in. Azul scoring a great goal before half time

Second half, we saw a completely different Azul side. 💙

The boys got the ball down and started playing some real football. The passing was sharp, we moved the ball around brilliantly, and defensively we dealt really well with the long-ball approach.

Once the boys started finding the net, the confidence grew and, most importantly, they were playing with smiles on their faces! 😁💙⚽️

Negra v Bayside

Round 2 of the week against Bayside this morning and we asked the team to pass and move before the game.

Unfortunately it was a slow start for Negra, the slick quick passing we have become used to was not there today. That allowed Bayside to defend in groups and we struggled to break them down. Communication going forward will be key to up the tempo, there was very good positioning and chances to open up the pitch but not enough communication to make sure the ball is going into the right areas.

Although when the passing did click we managed to carve out chances and get forward and get shots away but it was not clinical enough in front of goal to make them count which ultimately cost us in the end.
