Mini One Day Event - Sunday 26 July 2026
Firstly, thank you to all competitors who came along to our annual mini one day event competition. Despite the less than promising weather forecast it remained dry for most of the day. Everyone appeared to have a good time and finish with smiles on their faces.

We would like to thank Linda Gove for organising the event and her band of helpers that made the day possible. Whether that was course building, jump repairs, jump judging, scoring, course control etc. etc. etc. without you all, days like these would not be possible.

OPEN MINI ONE DAY EVENT Sunday 26 July.
We have had couple of withdrawals so we can take another couple of entries for this competition.
We are also offering a “Hunter Trials” option ie just the cross country phase plus following requests from some riders, we can squeeze in a Cross Poles class. However we need any extra entries in ASAP as times will be finalised tomorrow (Thursday). As ever, head to Equus. Many thanks 🤗

COMING UP NEXT! This is one busy time at FRC! Next weekend we have our Mini ODE (entries still open btw) then the following weekend we are running an open ARENA EVENT on SUNDAY 2 AUGUST. OPEN TO ALL. Classes from around 50cm upwards. Want to come along? Further info and schedule on the Equus online payment platform where you can also enter. How to find Equus: if you are not already registered with them just head to our club website (Google Fife Riding Club Events) where you will find our event diary then just click on the date and you will get the info you need.

We have had a few folk asking about the dressage test for next weekend’s Open MINI CROSS COUNTRY. The test is BE Dressage 91 (2009). Full details are on the schedule which you can download when you enter online via the Equus platform. It’s the same test for everyone. We know that some people find dressage much scarier than jumping; indeed we know some folk who never do dressage are coming. To help out you are allowed to have your test called out, so no worries about forgetting what you are doing. A copy of the test is below - start practicing now!
