Glenrothes Amateur Swimming Club

Glenrothes Amateur Swimming Club Glenrothes Amateur Swimming Club is based at the Michael Woods Sports Centre.

We have swimmers of all abilities starting from learning to swim to our Master's swimmers as well as for those who wish to compete as well as those who swim for fitness. We love competing with other clubs within the East District and across Scotland, giving our swimmers an excellent opportunity to drive themselves to achieve goals they set themselves. We had two very special awards on Saturday night! These awards were based on nominations from all those involved in the club to recognise individuals who really keep the club running! What a fantastic night last night was! We had awards, interviews and lots of great music (with the addition of a fire alarm just to keep us all on our toes 😂)! Thank you to everyone who attended for making it such a fun night!

This weekend obw of our coaches, Craig, swaps the poolside for the starting blocks as he competes at the British Masters Championships in Aberdeen.

Craig will be taking on:

🏊‍♂️ 50m Back
🏊‍♂️ 100m Back

As coaches, they spend countless hours helping our swimmers achieve their goals, so it's fantastic to see Craig leading by example and putting his own training and racing to the test.

We're sure the swimmers will be keeping a close eye on the results this weekend! 👀
