Our adult cycling group took a quick trip over to Outdoor Education Fife at Lochore Meadows on Tuesday morning to put their recently developed cycling skills to the test in a different location

Just look at the blue sky and the loch - we wish we were there too!

There's something really quite special and uplifting spending time outdoors with great company and doing something active, it really does make you feel good!!

We are so proud of how far everyone has come while on their own cycling journey building skills, confidence, improving physical health and mental wellbeing, making friends and getting familar with their own community

Our cycling group will continue to run throughout the summer on Tuesday mornings from 11am and everyone is invited to join in!! It's free to take part

We have bikes, trikes and helmets that can be borrowed if required- just let us know in advance by dropping us a message or pop in and see us if you're passing

Feedback from the group was amazing! Everyone was so positive that we hope to arrange another trip soon

Join Ingrid on WEDNESDAY evening for a 1 hour session where she weaves together a mix of postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, relaxation, mantra, and yoga philosophy.

While every class includes a mix of some of these elements, the blend of practices varies weekly offering a unique experience each time. Ingrid offers several options for poses making this class suitable for any level. Beginners are very much welcome as are men - this is a mixed class.

✨ Increase flexibility, strength, mobility, and balance
✨ Deepen understanding of yoga as a holistic path to well-being on and off the mat

Classes are held at Gilvenbank Community Sports Hub in Glenrothes - Fife - Scotland on Wednesdays from 18.10 - 19.10.

This offering is £9 per class and there are 12 spaces available. When there are 4 or more weeks in a month there are discounted blocks available at the beginning of each month (£8 per class instead of £9) for anyone who wants to commit to their self-care (look for the series option when booking).

We can't believe how quickly this year is flying in!!

We have been working quietly in the background pulling together our very popular free summer programme for children and families.

We were awarded funding from Tesco to enable to purchase new outdoor games and equipment- we can't wait to see everyone enjoying playing with it and making some wonderful memories together!!!

We are waiting on 1 or 2 responses as we are hoping to have something new and exciting 🤔🤫

🍏🥪🥤🍪 we will be a Cafe Inc venue again this summer, offering packed lunches Monday - Friday between 12-1pm

⚽️🥅⛳️🎳🎲 Family fun and game sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the summer between 12 -2pm

🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️ Family friendly bike rides will take place on Thursdays between 1-2pm

🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️ Bikeability sessions will take place at The Hub on Fridays (dates to be confirmed)

A tough day out for Glenrothes at Meigle on Saturday in the SPCU North East Championship. Asked to bat first on a tricky surface, the Glens were bowled out for 89 despite a positive start from Sufyan Ahmed (25). Meigle’s change bowlers took control, tightening the screws and never letting the innings settle.

In reply, Meigle chased the target in the 12th over, showing far more intent with the bat and running between the wickets. Glenrothes picked up two wickets, but skipper Raju Gayashan finished things quickly with a rapid 30* from 8 balls.

Plenty of lessons still to learn - too many wides, too many short balls, and missed chances in the field - but also glimpses of what this side can produce when it clicks.

🟠 GA v Blue Brazil Boys Club 2014s Whites ⚪️

Our penultimate game of 9 a side took us to Venters park to take on our good friends at BB Whites ⚪️

A scorching day in which both teams gave everything and left everything of the game ☀️

We felt we had the better of the first half, with just that final pass maybe being just a tad too far. We also forced the BB keepers into a couple of outstanding saves.

However despite all our good work, we switched off from a throw in and allowed the big striker to unleash a shot into the top corner

The half time team talk wouldn’t have changed as we were proud of the effort the lads put in. It was a case of more of the same 💪🏻

Within 5 mins we were level. Eddie drove through and his shot was saved by the keeper but he never gave up and won the ball back before the keeper could get it. A nice pass into the path of Layton who smashed the ball into the top corner 🚀

We kept the pressure up and kept plugging away but failed to find that goal we needed.

However, with the last kick of the ball, Lèo’s throw into the box allowed Eddie to roll his defender and smash the ball low between the keepers legs. Sparking wild scenes. During the celebrations the referee blew for full time 🙌🏻

An excellent game of football between both sides and exactly the type of games that these lads need 🤝

A fun afternoon at Gilvenbank Park on Sarturday as Glenrothes 2nd XI posted a strong 213/2 against Dundee HSFP 3rd XI. After a bright start, Georgkutty Chacko (79*) and Basil Varghese (65*) put on a superb unbeaten partnership, mixing boundaries with sharp running.

The young Dundee side showed plenty of spirit, but early wickets from Kevin Le Roux and young Archie Taylor set the tone. With every bowler chipping in - including a debut wicket for Saran Kumar Karavadhi - the visitors were bowled out for 73.

A strong team performance and another fun day for this blend of youth and experience.
