📢 GLENROTHES STROLLERS FFIT – PLAYER RECRUITMENT ⚽️

We are looking to add players in ALL positions as we continue to build the squad.

If you have been out the game for a while looking to get back fit or even just looking a player looking for a new challenge and want to be part of what we’re building at Glenrothes Strollers FFIT, we’d love to hear from you!

Currently playing in the Scottish FFIT Football Association league.

Games are bi-weekly with friendlies placed in between the league games to keep up kick on!

Full time!!

A game of great sprits that seen the boys winning until the 70th minute when the game had to be abandoned due to a medical emergency to one of our boys!

Strollers found themselves 1-0 up after the our 2 trialists combining with each other in the opposition box.

Half time 1-0 strollers

Second half seen strollers seen much of the ball again controlling the game! It only took a smash up the field from goal keeper Dan Henderson for Jamie Laing to run on to before he buried his shot in the net.

Then unfortunately we had to abandon the game on the 70th minute due to a medical emergency when one of our boys collapsed on the field.

Match day result!!!

A disappointing loss away in Glasgow against a very well drilled Celtic team.

A game which seen Strollers have 14 boys and multiple key players missing, Celtic deserved the victory but the score line doesn’t reflect on how well the Strollers boys played but with most the team having to play 90 minutes and boys started tiring that’s when the floodgate started to open for Celtic.

Match day announcement!!!

Today we play our 3rd league game of the season as we travel through to Glasgow to play Celtic.

After last week’s disappointing defeat at home the boys are looking to rectify that situation!

Celtic currently 2nd only on goal difference after the first 2 games while we sit 4th

The boys know how difficult it will be considering their is only 14 boys available for the game today!
