Our 2014 Boys are looking to welcome new players as we continue to grow and develop the squad at Crewe United.

At Crewe, it’s about much more than what happens on matchday. We want every player to have the opportunity to develop their ability, build confidence, enjoy their football and feel part of a team.

🔴⚪ INVESTING IN OUR COACHES ⚪🔴

Great players need great coaches — and this season we’re making coach development a priority at Crewe United Academy. ⚽📚

We’ve set aside a dedicated budget to support our coaches in developing their knowledge, gaining qualifications and continuing to raise the standards across our Academy.

👏 A brilliant start over the weekend as Ian from our 2015s and Lee from our 2012s completed Day 1 of their NCC course.

A huge well done to both for giving up their time and investing in their own development — ultimately, our players are the ones who benefit. ❤️

This is just the beginning, with more opportunities planned for our coaching team throughout the season.

At Crewe United Academy, we’re always looking at ways to give our boys and girls additional opportunities to learn, develop and grow.

One of those opportunities is our dedicated goalkeeper training, giving our young keepers focused coaching alongside their normal team sessions.

🧤 Specialist goalkeeper coaching
⚽ Developing technique and handling
💪 Building strength, agility and movement
🧠 Growing confidence and decision-making
📈 Supporting each goalkeeper’s individual development
😊 And most importantly — creating an environment where they can enjoy learning!

Goalkeepers have a unique role within every team, and we believe they deserve the opportunity to receive dedicated, position-specific coaching.

This is another example of the additional development opportunities we are continuing to provide across Crewe United Academy — investing in our players, supporting our coaches and helping every child reach their potential.

A huge thank you to our goalkeeper coaches for giving their time and expertise each week and for the encouragement they give our young keepers. 👏🧤

Behind every player who steps onto the pitch is a parent or care giver making it possible. ❤️⚽️

The early mornings.
The late evenings.
The lifts to training and matches.
The standing on the sidelines in every kind of weather. 🌧️☀️
The encouragement after a difficult game.
The celebrations when things go well.
And most importantly, simply being there.

At Crewe United Academy, our focus is on helping every young player play, learn, develop and enjoy their football — and we couldn’t do that without the incredible support of our parents and families.

Crewe 2015 Colts vs Rosairo FC

The 2015 colts kick started there league campaign off today playing against a strong Rosairo FC on Saturday morning, which turned out to be a great game.

The first half the colts started strongly on top, pressing with the ball and playing some excellant football paasing it about and working as a team from the back.

The hard work paid off, to get the break through with the colts first goal coming from good built up play,.. resulting in oliver scoring. With a good strike.

The boys confidence grew further more into the game, which lead to further goals ftom Ryan R. Tobin and Matthew .

The boys battled well, as Rosairo FC created more chances, which Joshua done brilliantly, making some cracking saves!

Into the 2nd half we asked the boys to give everything to stay on top. Keep the focus and momentium in play which they did! More chances fell to us to add more goals, but to be denied by good defending and goalkeeping.

A joint POTM earned by Nathan and Oliver who gave a brilliant performance in work rate both in defending and oliver with the goal

A fantastic performance all round from the boys was well earned. Their work rate and drive from every player in the team was outstanding today!!.. the coaches couldn't be more prouder of you all.

⚽ Match Report – Crewe 2017 Juniors

A brilliant effort from the boys today, despite coming away with a 4-3 defeat.

We went 1-0 down but showed great character to pull it back to 1-1. After going 2-1 behind, the boys battled again to make it 2-2. With no substitutes available, tired legs started to show in the second half and we found ourselves 4-2 down.

The boys never gave up, though, pulling another goal back with around 10 minutes to go. We then had a real go at them and created plenty of pressure, but unfortunately our decision making in the final third just let us down when it mattered.

Despite the result, the boys were brilliant today — full of energy, determination and fight right from the start. 👏⚽

🏆 Man of the Match – Reuben
Reuben was absolutely everywhere today, popping up all over the pitch and capping off a fantastic performance with a well-deserved goal. 👏

Plenty of positives to take from today. Proud of all the boys! 💪🔴⚽

What a weekend of matches for our 2013–2020 teams! 🙌

🧤 Saves
📚 Learning
👏 Teamwork
😁 And plenty of smiles!

But the biggest positive was seeing our boys and girls taking what they’ve been learning on the training pitch and putting it into practice on matchday. That’s what development is all about! ❤️⚽️

A massive THANK YOU to our brilliant coaches who give their time every week to plan, encourage and develop our players. 👏

Thank you to our parents and families for getting the players there, supporting from the sidelines and being such an important part of the Academy. ❤️

And a huge thank you to our sponsors, whose continued support helps us provide opportunities, equipment and experiences for our young players. 🤝

Most importantly — well done to every boy and girl who pulled on the Crewe shirt this weekend. Keep learning, keep working hard and, most importantly, keep enjoying your football! 🔴⚪️
