As the season subtly changes and the cross quarter festival Luggnassa is upon us, it can stir in us, to make changes, to plan to break bread and make peace with things….it also can be a good time to look at what we would like for the coming Autumn & Winter, the first fruits that adorn the hedges are showing us their beauty and abundance.

We can start seeing the rewards of the efforts put in during the first half of this year, if we nurtured them with heartfelt intentions, what we planted earlier are hopefully starting to show sign of fruition.

During this transition it’s good to look forward to things to come…

It’s very hot outside, but it’s so nice inside….venture up the staircase into our lovely cool space.

We are lucky to be in the shade so we can do all our Reading & Healing Work with comfort.

So when you come to Glastonbury over the next week during the heatwave or whenever you come please take a step in and see what we offer and have a little chill from the hot high street vibes.

Solstice Greetings to one and all ☀️

As Glastonbury fill up with tourists from all over the world and those who just come in and out for a few days from a few miles away we totally acknowledge what you give to this little town…🙏

But to commit to actually living in this whirling, bustling sacred place is another level, hard & rewarding to those who truly give back to the Spirit Avalon…

Our Healing Centre offers a sanctuary to release and surrender if that is what you require to take time for you.

Yet it’s important to also give back to the magic of the land…
To be responsible and respectful of the energies here for it is most powerful…

Giving & Receiving is where magic happens…

All taking and no giving leads to an unhealthy balance…so give a little love to Avalon & Glastonbury while you are here not by dumping bits of stuff around or leaving offerings that are not even from our land but by taking a moment to be grateful you are here you don’t need to leave a trace only your love ❤️

The Summer Solstice is the balance of both, enjoy your celebration and this powerful time…🫶🏻

The whole process start to finish isn’t just about making a drum and taking it home, it’s about totally connecting you with this ancient craft, the feel of the skin & bones, the wheel it is draped on, its every strand & sacred thread that is linked & woven to & in your being…

It can be an emotional ride that brings things up, that’s why we feel it is imperative that making such a powerful tool needs to be held by, not only an expert crafter but an experienced & fully trained shamanic healer to be able to carry you and guide you through the remembering, release & restoring process as well as the making of the Drum.

You can find a drum making day anywhere these days, which can be fun, but you won’t find another quite like this!

A very deep immersive dive into a rewarding, memorable & moving day.

Happy Beltane Eve 🌿

There be much excitement in town this weekend, so many visitors coming to see all the celebrations and ceremonies all the fun and frolics.

The Beltane King & Queen will parade our High Street alongside many Drummers Drumming, it’s an intoxicating energy and one not to miss.

At our Healing Centre we will be busy..(not of Friday as we are closed)
but on Saturday & Sunday…

It’s a real challenge to hold space during all the sounds & excitement underneath our windows, but we’ve managed it for so many years now as it is a really positive vibe during this particular celebration weekend.

We hope to see you in between sessions if the door is unlocked…a sanctuary from all the wonderful chaos outside.

However not to be forgotten, we are here during all the days, not just the fun & rosey ones 🫶🏻

As we slowly turn our attention to the festival of Beltane, it is always exciting to be able to offer all our Shamanic Healing Work & Higher Perception Readings to the many who walk in or pre book appointments with us as we are busy with our Year Courses but we absolutely love nothing better than being of service with all our 1 to 1 Healing Work.

We are honoured to have been steering this incredible place for so many decades, as it has given us such varied experiences of working with, as you can imagine, many different types of people from all walks of life in 1 to 1 sessions in person at the Centre.

Jay & Kestrel will be available on Beltane Eve which is Thursday 31st April and on Saturday 2nd May
(the 1st will be a vary loud and wonderfully noisy celebration day for us all in the town).

So please get in touch as we don’t want anyone being left outside as our door will be locked if we are in sessions.

Did you know that our Healing Centre The Bridget Healing Centre is
a ‘not for profit place’… lots of people don’t…

We are deeply honoured to be able to offer our Healing Work in this very old and sometimes leaky but warm and welcoming environment…

It’s not the easiest place to get into as we have a set of step stairs to climb up to get to us and some of the roof leaks and we have some very interesting bare brick walls telling tales of well over 45 years of constant Healing taking place…

We don’t smell like a hospital and some of the floor boards are a little risky and can trip you up if not grounded enough.

We are however, deeply committed to our Healing Path and deeply committed to being there for those who need.

It’s definitely not a place to work for those who fear or don’t trust their path as we have no idea who or if anyone may walk up our creaky stairs for help, but it is truly the most heart warming fire glowing feeling at the end of the day, when we go home just knowing we have been of service in our own uniquely odd and unglamorous way.

We sit in silence and send healing to all affected by the unfolding of new wars old wars those at war all the devastation and declaration of hatred…

We send healing for us to find PEACE and may LOVE pervade and fold into the hearts that need~into the souls that are lost~into the places that are empty…

Our prays are flying ~ they will continue to move & flow ~ through the air and in the fire through the earth and into the waters of life 🕯️
