Strathclyde University Men's Hockey Club

Strathclyde University Men's Hockey Club At SUMHC we have 4 teams playing across a range of tournaments. We play BUCS games on Wednesdays, in 1B and 3A. An old club, full of tradition and prestige.

On Saturdays, we play in National League and West District 2. Come to training from 5-6:30 at Stepps on Monday/ Thursday if you’re interested! We are one of the largest and most social clubs within the Sports Union. Everybody is welcome, at any skill level. Whether you have never picked up a stick or have been capped for Scotland, come along to our BUCS fixtures or training. Training takes place a

t Stepps Playing Fields . The team meets outside Strathclyde Union @4.15pm. Throughout the year we enjoy major socials with our more attractive counter parts Strathclyde University Women's Hockey Club. We also weekly get together for match teas and a few cold pints at our Union with the occasional night out to Light Nightclub. You will meet a great bunch of guys and girls, spend a lot of time in the bars of Glasgow and occasionally play a hockey game. But when we do play:

"We bleed maroon!"
