Well after a very tough start to the season for our under 16s, the girls took on Rossvale this morning in a friendly at home. Our 16s came away with a very well deserved 2-1 victory 🙌.

Every girl on the pitch played with great determination and for each other ! Coaches and parents could not be any prouder of the effort put in today.

Player of the match has been awarded to the whole team as each girl played their part in helping the team get that win 👏

Our under 16s had a wee night at the bowling tonight to mark the start of the easter break and welcome in our newest signings!! Very competitive evening between players and coaches...VAR was definitely needed tonight !!
Well done to Kasei for getting the trophy this evening 👏 rematch same time next year!

Last training session tonight with half of the team before a well earned break. Our new banner arrived and the girls couldn’t wait to show it off ! Girls under 8s will be getting the badge in everywhere we go now⚽️

We have exciting news! 🙌 Our U12s team is looking for players born 2015 to help them build and strengthen their squad.

They are a lovely group of girls, led by enthusiastic and engaged coaches Chris and David! All players for all positions welcome, but if your girl likes scoring goals, then she is for us 👏

We had two under 8s teams out again on Sunday, which is proving to be really beneficial eveyone is getting maximum game time they’re all really enjoying themselves on game day.
Our newest girls are really starting to put themselves about the pitch and are taking the confidence they show in training into the games, the communication between the girls on Sunday was a real proud moment for us as coaches watching our teams being a team helping each throughout the games.
The girls were strong in the tackles, always positive to beat a player one on one and full of energy to get back into defence when we lost the ball.
Big improvements in playing the ball out from the back and getting the ball out wide, with some more training with ball control over the next few weeks they will create lots of crossing opportunities for each other.
There were some excellent goal keeping displays today aswell with a few of the girls shinning between the sticks. Fair to say these girls love a Sunday morning. Welldone everyone💪🏼

Well done to our U8 girls yesterday who played in very tough, cold, wet and windy conditions. It was clear at the start that it wasn’t very pleasant for them, but they showed great character and battled through brilliantly. 💪⚽️

They worked incredibly hard for each other, with some determined tackling and some lovely passing moves on display. While goals were limited on the day, we were delighted to see Aubrey and Edith get on the scoresheet, and Grace and Elodie both came very close as well. 👏

A big thank you to all the parents who came out to support the girls in that weather — especially on Mother’s Day. Your support means a lot. 🌸
