This Sunday 31st May, we are putting on another introduction to group cycling 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️

Where: Doulgas street car park, Milngavie, G62 6PE

When: 9am

Route: Around 20-30 miles, Can be shortened to accomodate, with a stop at Aizle cafe for a half time break

Lomond roads are happy to give their knowledge on how to ride safely in a bunch, communicate verbally and be aware of your surroundings all with a smile on your face 🤩

Road bike and helmet are a must 🙌🏻

Recently a few of our members took part in some events in Scotland & England 🚴‍♂️

1 & 2: Darren Richford took part in the famous Wheelbase Fred Whitton Challenge 107 miles with 11,000 ft of climbing

3: Pete Horn smashed the 200k gravel event The Dirty Reiver with over 12,000 ft of climbing

4 & 5: John Scullion & David Scullion taking in the beautiful Loch Ness sights at Etape Loch Ness with a massive climb in the middle of the 66 mile route

Just want to say a huge well done to one of our longest standing members Gordo Dick on passing his Derny riding and coaching course this past weekend 🚴‍♂️🙌🏻

Gordon gives back to the cycling community in Glasgow in many ways and its highly appreciated 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Just in time for the commonwealth games 🤔😬

Some behind the scenes and action from yesterdays Hugh Dornan road race 🚴‍♂️

Well done to every rider that took part, beautiful course with some hard climbing 👏🏻

Thank you to all the volunteers that showed up and played their part, its highly appreciated 🙌🏻

Thank you to the first responders for keeping the riders safe ⛑️

But the final massive thank you and appreciation goes to our own Stephen for organising the whole event, working tirelessly over the past few months to pull this off 🙌🏻
