Whether you are a regular climber looking for a training facility, or someone who has never tried climbing before, the Glasgow Climbing Centre has something for everyone. Climbing is a great workout (often with out realising it) and has a fantastic social scene too. Situated inside an old church, we have made full use of the space, with over 60 Lead routes up to 14 metres, Over 100 Bottom Roped routes, and Over 100 Boulder Problems in 3 areas including Campus and fingerboards, and a Beastmaker systems board. We pride ourselves on the quality of our routes, and reset 4 days a week to ensure there is always something fresh for you to climb. Our fabulous café offers great locally roasted coffee and a range of snacks and meals. This year we are rated in The List review as one of the best cafés in town.

⚠️ Incoming reset for the white auto-belay wall. ⚠️

We’re once again hosting the GB Climbing Ice Team Trials on Sunday 30th August 🧊⛏️

To get the wall ready, the white auto-belay wall will be closed from 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 while we strip, set and host the event.

🔧 Monday 31st: Routesetting will take place in the morning as normal, with the wall reopening in the afternoon with plenty of fresh routes ready to climb that evening.

🔩 Tuesday 1st: We’ll fill in the remaining panels in the morning, with the full reset planned to be complete and open from Tuesday afternoon.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭.

And if you fancy seeing something a little different, spectators are very welcome (and it’s free!) to come along on Sunday afternoon and watch some of the UK’s best ice climbers battle it out in the finals. 👀⛏️

Our performance squad had an ✨️amazing✨️ day at Neilston the other day. Climbing real rock, testing themselves on the abseil and, of course, enjoying the liquid sunshine ☔️🌞 ☔️

As part of their development we find very important to show them what else is out there🌳🏞🌳. Comps are great, training on plastic so much fun🤸‍♀️! Top it up with an outdoor crag and it is the perfect combination to use all the skills they have been learning indoors!
