In case you missed the live updates on Saturday… TWO HILLHEAD FINAL WINS AT GLASGOW GREEN!

In the 11am Reserve Plate game, a very tightly contested game between the 4s and Watson 3s was decided by a Charlie Hamilton goal in the 3rd quarter of the game as the West District side dispatched another Regional League team enroute to cup success.

In the 12pm District Cup game, halfway through the final quarter, it was looking over for the 2s as they had conceded two quick goals to be 2-0 down. But with around 8 minutes left on the clock, Murray McVicar pulled a goal back and the momentum had irrevocably swung. About a minute later, Grant MacMillan equalised from a short corner to level the game up. Finally, almost instantly, a penalty flick was won and player/coach, Craig Hilton, netted the winning goal as the team played out the final four minutes to secure a remarkable comeback.

Scottish District Cup Final - Hillhead 2 v Edinburgh University 2: 12:00, GNHC

The boys are back in the District Cup final once again. Fresh off their success in winning RL1, they take on fellow RL1 team, Edinburgh Uni 2, who finished 4th and 12 points behind. But both the league games they played against one another this season were incredibly tight and the 2s will need to shake off the disappointing cup final defeat last season to Watsons.

Do the double, lads!

Scottish Reserve Plate Final - Hillhead 4 v Watsonians 3: 11:00, GNHC

Hillhead 4, who finished 2nd in WD1, meet the RL2 outfit, Watsonians 3, in the final of the Scottish Reserve Plate. The guys will be buoyed by their semi-final success against another RL2 team and will give everything in this match.

Come cheer them on at 11am on Saturday!

Two huge finals for Hillhead down at Glasgow Green this Saturday. Team sheets to follow later in the week. Come on down to support our 4s in the Reserve Plate and then our 2s as they attempt to regain the District Cup and do the double for the season!

The 2s were presented with their trophy 🏆 and medals 🏅 after today's 6-0 win against ESM.

Congratulations to our 3s on their Regional 2 Win.

After a well deserved 4-1 win against Grange 3s the 3s sealed the deal to bring home the trophy and medals.
