For anyone looking to follow our Queens Park bowling journey for the next few days … we’re hitting the defining qualifying stages to win through to the Bowls Scotland National Championships at Northfield in August … why not pop along if you can and give our Ladies your support.

BS District 21 National Mixed Pairs Quarter Finals - Alan Scott & Marie Stirling v Busby @ Eaglesham 2pm start.

LOTSA LUCK TO EVERYONE - hoping that the Ladies win their last District match that would see them qualify for the final stages of the National Championship at Northfield 8th/15th August.

Queens Park Bowling Club have a charitable arm structure within our club - called the “Highlands & Lowlanders” and we hold annual events within our premises which are attended by anyone who wants to come along to support our chosen Charity for each specific year/event!

A ‘Chieftain’ is elected annually from our membership to take charge of the proceedings and promote our fundraising campaigns.

This year, under the leadership of HARRY MURTAGH, he is proud to nominate and support the locally based Castlemilk CENTRE who will be the recipients of our fundraising efforts.

The Cojac Centre was formed in 1980 and provides services for families and carers affected by disability from an inclusive and assessable resource centre … read more about this amazing facility here .cojaccentre.co.uk

THE QUEENS PARK HIGHLAND & LOWLANDERS CHARITY DAY will take place on SATURDAY 11th July 2026.

Tickets are priced @£5 and are available from our club. This includes a BBQ -burger/hotdog + soft drink/tea/coffee.

Other activities - Game of Bowls, Bouncy Castle, Raffle - £1 per ticket or 6 for £5. *Any donations of prizes are welcome.

Bouncy castle under 11 only £1.50 for 5 minutes.

Doors open 1.30, game starts 2pm, food available from 5pm

It's blooming profusely in our fantastic garden at the club ... and we have some beauties that are just waiting to be sold and then planted out in your own garden - what could be more satisfying!

To make up for the disappointment of missing out on our Ladies Race Day … we’ve decided to forget about this ‘not so summer weather’ - make our own sunshine and generate some fun ourselves … so why not pop along to the club on Sunday 7th June … as per our poster … and enjoy a day of … frolics, fun, music and laughs … Oh … and a few wee glasses of ‘bubbles’ 🥂 🍾 ! Or any other tipple you fancy! 🎵🕺💃 🍻
