What do we see?
Find out below....
Emerging renewed and full of anticipation from the winter months, it's easy to spring into the familiar cycles of life. Familiarity brings a sense of safety that we'd all welcome in these times. Yet, the freshness of Spring hopes can be the reason to remember the benefits of winter's introspection and contemplation and to look, afresh, with a new perspective and focus at what lies before us.
The world and we are changing constantly but we've had the clearest possibe focus on this truth, now, and it's our chance to avoid repeating cycles no-longer useful for our growth. We can leave behind layers of expectations and anticipation placed upon us and focus on who we really are and what we really bring to this life...
If we're each a little more congruent, a little more peaceful, a little more equitable, perhaps we'll find fulfilment in being a little more in touch with our true purpose and feel a little less inclined to fall in with the call of the crowd.
Where we place our focus matters. It's the foundation of our experience. Do we want more superficiality, illusion and pretence and all of the angst that comes with it? It's familiar and it feels safe. Therein lies the challenge.
Spring shows us how growth comes from deep within. The outer show is temporary, unsustainable. Yet we still miss so much of the real beauty and wonder that's around us in such abundance.
When we find it within ourselves we can see it everywhere. We can see through the dross of modern life and live something real; good, bringing ultimate fulfilment. We just have to choose our focus with care and dare to sing our own song...and listen for the harmony, allowing the clamour to subside.
Focus.
Oh, and what's in the picture?
