This recognition means so much to everyone connected with Afroscots United. It’s a reflection of the commitment, passion and hard work that goes into creating opportunities, building community and providing a platform for our people.

A special congratulations to all the finalists across the different categories — your work and contributions deserve to be celebrated. 👏🏾

We also want to extend a huge thank you to the Black Scottish Awards for recognising and celebrating the impact of organisations and individuals within our communities.

This project is about social inclusion, empowering ethnic minority communities and creating opportunities through sustainable transport.

Thank you for believing in the vision, embracing the spirit of the tournament, and helping make this year’s event such a special occasion. Your passion, energy, sportsmanship and support played a huge part in creating an unforgettable day that brought communities together through football.

We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed having you with us. This tournament is built on unity, diversity and friendship, and every new team that joins becomes part of the World Cup Glory family.

As the dust settles on another incredible World Cup Glory 7’s, we want to say a huge thank you to all 16 teams who took part in this year’s tournament.

You brought passion, energy, skill and sportsmanship to the pitch, making the event a true celebration of football, culture and community. Every team played their part in creating an unforgettable atmosphere and showing exactly what our motto stands for:

A special congratulations goes to Tanzania 🇹🇿 and Adam Kassim, who were crowned our 2026 World Cup Glory 7’s champions after an outstanding tournament. A deserved achievement and a fantastic way to etch your names into the history of the competition.

To every player, coach, volunteer, sponsor and supporter – thank you for helping make this event such a success. The love and support shown throughout the day reminds us why we do this.

We’re already looking ahead to next year, and if this year was anything to go by, World Cup Glory 7’s 2027 will be even bigger and better.
