League games > pre season friendlies. As frustrating as last weekends result was the boys made sure they put it right this weekend and got three points to start the league! A 3-1 victory saw us bag all three points. We took the lead when Chris put us 1-0 up through some good pressing with Fabio slipping him in and finished off well from Chris. We ended up level when a freekick from Jags came in and Gavin forgot what team he played for a minute and assisted their goal with a header. Not to fret though as Gav realised what side he actually plays for and assisted Kiern who headed us 2-1 infront. We then went 3-1 up when Fabio, who must have banged his head before the game decided to make another assist for Jack who slotted nicely passed the Jags keeper to take us into half time 3-1 up. The second half saw a few chances, a few head losses from Jags and the post rattled but 3-1 it remained. Night and day from the boys compared to pre season. We knew last week we were the better team and we showed it today when it really mattered. Onto next week’s game!

The refs MOTM was our captain Andy Scott! A solid display from the big man at the back today!
