This is missing in dance
High performing athletes have a ‘multidisciplinary team’
A team of specialists from physio’s to dieticians to psychologists to S&C coaches
And that’s on top of their gymnastic coach or football coach
And I know what you’re going to say … ‘dance doesn’t have the funding’
Which is true for the freelance world
But it’s unfair for that responsibility to fall on the shoulders of dance educators who haven’t trained in those fields
Inside the Certificate in Dancer’s Injury Prevention (SCQF-8) you get to learn from these specialists
Specialists who are (mostly) retired professional dancers, now working in their respective fields
You’ll get real, practical advice from specialists who are working with professionals every day
Who have first hand experience in supporting dancers as athletes
And we did that on purpose
Because you deserve to learn where your role ends, and theirs starts, so you don’t have to carry it all alone
And in the meantime, they all provide you with tools you can use in the studio to make the next ‘I have a sore knee’ have a clear pathway of response … not guesswork
If you want to learn from leading specialists and you want to upgrade your classes by training smarter, stronger dancers … then our final cohort of 2026 is for you!
